Dr. Thomas Jorgensen

Dr. Tom was born in Oak Park, Illinois. During his early childhood, Dr. Tom’s family relocated to St. Paul, Minnesota. Throughout his adolescent years, Dr. Tom discovered his love of the outdoors. He spent much of his spare time enjoying camping, boating and winter activities. It was also during these years that Dr. Tom became interested in the field of dentistry through numerous visits to his orthodontic office.

Dr. Tom attended college at Macalester College in St. Paul where he played basketball for 4 years. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Biology, Dr. Tom was accepted into the University of Minnesota Dental School to pursue his lifelong dream in dentistry.  In 1980, Dr. Tom graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Shortly after his graduation, Dr. Tom relocated to Aurora, Colorado where he would embark on his professional career and raise his two sons, Andrew and Timothy. Dr. Tom started a private practice that he would successfully own and operate for nearly 22 years. During this time, Dr. Tom also served as Director of the Fort Logan Mental Health Center. In 2003, Dr. Tom sold his practice and relocated to Golden, Colorado with his wife Lisa. Dr. Tom assisted the Colorado State Board by helping doctors in need and working in several offices in underserved areas on the eastern plains of Colorado.

In 2015, Dr. Tom joined his first born son, Dr. Andrew Jorgensen, here at Pine Grove Dental Arts. When he is not at the office, Dr. Tom enjoys spending time with his family here in Colorado and visiting his second born son, Timothy, and his family, in Florida.
