Dr. Dotty is a periodontist. She attended Wheaton College in Norton, MA and graduated with honors in 1979. After working at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, she was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She graduated from Penn in 1986 with honors and then completed both a general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and a post-doctoral certification in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989.
Dr. Dotty taught at both Temple University School of Dentistry and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dotty has never had her own office, but rather enjoys bringing her skills to existing practices to deliver care to patients. There is a nice rapport that develops within each office setting as a result. She offers a full complement of periodontal services from periodontal surgery to tissue and bone grafting to biopsies, and she is very devoted to patient education.
In her free time, Dr. Dotty enjoys skiing, horseback riding, jewelry making, tennis, sailing, trapshooting, and many other outdoor activities.
