Dr. Steven W. Diehl
Dr. Steven W. Diehl grew up in Wheatridge, Colorado where he attended Wheatridge High School along with his two older brothers. He enjoyed golf, hunting, boating, camping and skiing while growing up. He developed a passion for assisting people as a junior ski patroller at Winter Park.
His love for the medical field continued to grow at Creighton University. He completed his undergraduate degree in Science in 1984, he then continued the next four years to gain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and graduated Magna Cum Laud in 1988.
After college he participated in The Pride Institute Training that helped to form his foundation of running dental practices and working with multiple doctors to provide exceptional care to all patients. Prior to moving to Steamboat, he successfully owned and operated several clinics on Colorado's front range.
In 1999 he and his wife Michelle were ready to move from the city to a quieter place to raise their children Alexandra (Ali) and Corbin. The pull of the Yampa Valley and their love of the outdoors made Steamboat Springs an easy choice for them. When he is not at the office you may see him golfing at Haymaker, boating on Stagecoach Reservoir or enjoying a friendly game of Texas Hole 'Em with his friends.
After owning and operating Steamboat Dental Group for a decade, Dr. Diehl has partnered with Dr. Comeau and Dr. Schwartz to create Pine Grove Dental Arts. He is very excited about merging the expertise, equipment, and staff of the two practices to offer his patients the most exemplary service and care avaialble in the Yampa Valley.
Dr. Steve continues to enhance his expertise in dentistry through laser training and the study of Implantology. In 2008 he completed the Nobel Bio Care extensive training program to enhance his level of expertise and to offer the very best in Implant Dentistry. He is currently studying with the Ladera Ranch Implant Institute to further develop his skill and knowledge to be the best he can be for his clients.
